This summer, André Rieu will once again be coming to Vrijthof square in his home town of Maastricht, for a series of summer-evening concerts. On seven evenings in July – the 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th – the ‘Modern King of Waltz’ and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will captivate audiences with their uplifting, romantic, and touching melodies. And what would an André Rieu concert be without his trademark bit of humour?

André Rieu Maastricht 2015

Each time André Rieu descends on Vrijthof Square in ‘his’ Maastricht for a series of summer evening concerts in July, it is a special moment for both the city and Rieu fans. Some even come to Maastricht from outside the Netherlands because attending a concert in Rieu’s hometown is the ultimate experience for them. On 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, and 12 July, the king of the waltz and classical music will be performing on Vrijthof Square!

Medical conferences 2015 at the MECC (Internistendagen for internal medicine specialists)

The Maastricht conference season is in full swing. While we at Townhouse have only just got over TEFAF, the MECC calendar is jam-packed, with one of the next events being the Internistendagen conference for specialists in internal medicine. We received so many positive reactions from our guests during the TEFAF art fair. We will certainly be taking the energy we got from this into the next event. The Internistendagen takes place from 22 to 24 April!
